Change is difficult. Most of the time we want to remain in our comfort zones. We want to remain in that position where everything seems to be flowing smoothly. We want to be in a happy state all the time, we want things to work out as we want, we want life to follow the direction that we had made in our minds, we want life to be a straight line. Do not resist change.
With change comes pain and comes the uncomfortable and uncertainty. Do not resist change; face your fears.
Do not resist change. Very few people are willing to go through what it takes for change to take place. Because of that, most people resist and fight change using every means possible. Most people want life to turn out the way they had planned it; they want to go to a certain school, they want to get a certain job, they want to live in a certain place, they want to live in a certain type of house, they want to marry a certain person, they want to have a family by a certain time, they want to live happily ever after. Such is the human mind, always in search of the comfort zone.
When something happens or something fails to happen that disrupts their sense of certainty or security, most people are thrown into confusion and into hopelessness.
Most people end up becoming angry and bitter with life, with other people, and even with themselves. Most people experience deep hurts when what they had in mind and what they had invested so much in fails to work out. Most people start fighting back in a worldly way with everything they have and with everything in them. In the process, a lot of damage is done both to themselves and to other people. Do not resist change!
There are so many bitter and angry people full of hate in this world, there are so many people walking with bleeding hearts, there are so many people who have lost hope. Bitterness and other sins that are held on to is good ground for the enemy to come in and plant tares.
Many people have opened up their lives to the enemy through their words, actions, attitudes, and thoughts.
There are too many people in this world being used by the enemy to accomplish his plans of killing, stealing, and destroying. There are many people who are so angry with God and blame Him for everything that has gone wrong in their lives. Many people have lost faith. They keep asking where God was or why could God not have stopped what happened in their lives or in their families or in other areas of their lives. They forget that God is who He is, He never changes, and He is still seated on the throne. Such anger, bitterness, and hate is then turned towards other people.
Lawlessness is on the increase, people attack innocent people, there is too much sin happening in this world. People have become agents of destroying each other.
It is a world full of evil. Everywhere you turn people are up against each other. Lying, slander, gossip, giving false witness, lust, perversion, sexual immorality, theft, murder, pride and arrogance, show-off, and so much more has become the way of life for most people. It seems that there are people who would not have anything else to do if they were not engaging in sin.
Sin has been normalized and if someone stands their ground and calls sin for what it is, that person is labeled weird. The love of many has grown cold. It seems that most people no longer listen to the tugging and conviction of the Holy Spirit and they have quenched Him and are no longer sensitive to Him. We are in the last days.
The Bible tells us that in the last days, because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold.
Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:9-14.
May we endure to the end. Let us ask Jesus Christ to intercede for us and for the Holy Spirit to empower us so that our faith will never fail.
Do not resist change. Life usually does not go the way we had planned in our minds. This world is full of ups and downs. People will hate you even if you have never wronged them. People will rise against you and try to destroy you without a cause. There are people out there in the world who get pleasure from seeing you going down. Resist and put the enemy where he belongs, under your feet.
Put on the full armor of God. Realize that the battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. Stop trying to hold on to circumstances and on to people that are determined to destroy you. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
There are people in your life who have been assigned by the devil to take you down. Fight the battle of faith.
Allow God to close doors in your life that should have never been opened or that should have been closed a long time ago. Yes, it most likely will hurt a lot to let go of what you thought was best for you but letting go and allowing God to deal with that situation is the best decision you can ever make.
Do not hold on to someone who is trying to destroy you or who is not good for you, do not hold on to things that cause great distress in your life or things that you know you should let go of.
Do not cling to anything or anyone that is negatively affecting your walk with the Lord. Yes, it is fearful to let go of what you wrongly think gives you security, but when you do finally let go, you will realize that God is a strong fortress. Your future is held by God, not by people or things of this world. Allow the Holy Spirit to direct your steps and lead you in the way everlasting. Jesus Christ is the only source of security. Rest in God.
Things of this world shall pass away, but those who obey God shall live forever. For the children of God, everything is a win-win. In Romans 8 verse 28 we are told that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Other people may be deceived into thinking that by hurting you they are winning but God will turn that very situation and use it to propel you forward for His glory. After you have come out through the other side of the valley, you will realize that God was with you every step of the way and that you have gained invaluable treasures.
Those who fight against the living God in you will never succeed. The Bible tells us that faith triumphs in trouble.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:1-5.
